Most avid craft lovers have one thing in common: tons of crafting stuff and not enough space to put it all. If your craft room is a mess of spilt buttons, tangled ribbons, unraveled thread, wrinkled fabrics, dried glue, and glitter glistening on every crevice, don’t fear. You’re not the only one. And because of this ever-so-common crafting problem, we’ve compiled a list of tips to keep your crafting room or space as organized as possible.
Sand Timer – Even though most children these days have cell phones and iPads and are more tech literate than a lot of adults, they can still enjoy getting their hands dirty with a new craft every now and then. One particularly fun project that you can work on with your kids is to put together 30 minute hourglass sand timers using a few very simple materials.
Euro pillow covers | With their large, square design, European or “Euro” pillows are perfect for adding some extra flair to any bedroom. Their square shape provides contrast from your other pillows and easily allows you to add a simple accent to your bed spread. Typically these pillows measure 26 inches squared, so make sure you have enough fabric to make these euro pillow covers.
Thanksgiving craft idea – A really fun way to get kids thinking about Thanksgiving and what they’re thankful for is by having them make their own Thanksgiving puppets. The great thing about this project is that the kids will have fun making their puppets and then enjoy playing with them after as well. You can use this opportunity to teach them about Thanksgiving or simply just ask them what they’re thankful for!

I’ll admit I’m a sucker for the latest gossip magazines while waiting in line at the grocery store and I’m often signed up for various monthly subscriptions. If you have a multiple-member household then this problem is only multiplied!
